Abstract
Three analytical methods were used, compared and evaluated for measurement of butyltin compounds in tissue extracts. Good correlation was shown for measurements by graphite furnace atomic absorption (for tributyltin only) after a NaOH wash, by flame atomic absorption spectrometry of hydride derivatives separated by purge and trap techniques, and by gas chromatography of pentylated derivatives using flame ionization detection. Keywords
