Connection between Regge-Pole and Single-Particle Exchange Models for High-Energy Reactions

Abstract
It is shown that the energy dependence of high-energy transition amplitudes characteristic of the Regge-pole model can be obtained directly in the channel by summing the most divergent terms resulting from an infinite set of single-particle exchanges in the channel.
