Abstract
Forty-three cystourethrograms were made for the specific purpose of demonstrating the external sphincter of the urethra and the intravesical protrusion of the prostate. Multiple exposures with varying increments of contrast medium were obtained in each study. In 21 cases the study was repeated in a 1-2 week interval. The precision of measurements in any single examination is presented as well as the reproducibility of the results. The use of a double contrast method did not affect the results. Keywords
