Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 40-month-old girl was admitted to the hospital because of respiratory distress.The child was born of a full-term normal delivery, one year after her mother's tuberculin test had converted to a positive reaction, without known contact with tuberculosis, and isoniazid was administered to the mother. At the age of 12 months the child was well and thriving, with a weight of 10.4 kg (75th percentile). She was taken by her parents to visit Haiti for one month.
