Abstract
Young poults which were fed a glycine-low ration in which the amino acids were supplied by casein, arginine and cystine grew at a rate comparable to that of poults fed a practical starting ration. Growth was slightly improved by the addition of glycine. Approximately 0.9% of total glycine was the smallest amount which produced optimal growth. Keywords
