Abstract
The study reports the effects of the admn. of ACTH, ACTH with ascorbic acid and epinephrine HC1 on eosinophil count, urinary excretion of adrenocortical metabolites and clinical symptoms of 2 patients ill with chronic perennial bronchial asthma of allergic origin. A considerable difference in the response of the 2 patients is apparent. The possible significance of the findings for the understanding of the patho-genesis of bronchial asthma is discussed. Keywords
