Abstract
Computerized transaxial tomography is now the procedure of choice in diagnosing exophthalmos. Caution must be exercised, however, in interpreting the results. The patient reported here had a swollen inferior rectus muscle that simulated an orbital apex tumor on CAT scan.Keywords
