Abstract
The gall bladder of the rabbit has been seen by direct vision to contract and evacuate via the cystic ducts under the influence of cholecystokinin, and photographs of the action have been made. The rabbit''s gall bladder does not contract with sufficient force to evacuate the larger portion of a viscous brominated oil placed within its lumen artificially, such as is known to be evacuated in the cat and dog. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
