Abstract
KSbSe2, prepared by heating a mixture of the elements in a silica tube, crystallizes triclinic with the following constants a = 1248.1(5) pm, α = 103.16(5)°, b = 644.5(5) pm, β = 99.27(5)°, c = 645.0(5) pm, γ = 99.44(5)°. There are SbSe2 --chains, formed by Ψ-tri-gonal bipyramids, which are connected by sharing edges.
