Abstract
The magnetic structure of FCC Fe97Co3 alloy precipitates in Cu has been studied by neutron diffraction. Magnetic satellite peaks are observed along a cubic axis around the 100 and 110 reciprocal lattice points below 30 K, indicating the formation of a spin density wave (SDW). The results are compared with the SDW state derived from a universal magnetic phase diagram for the 3d transition metal series. Keywords
