Abstract
This rare lesion most commonly arises from the false vocal chord. A distinction arises between oncocytomas of the salivary glands which are considered neoplasms and extrasalivary oncocytic lesions which are secondary to hyperplasia. Oncocytic lesions of the larynx are benign and treatment is excision. They may be multiple, but recurrences are rare. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
