Abstract
Electrochromic manganese oxide thin films were prepared by chemical vapor deposition. The source material was manganese (III) acetylacetonate. Transparent thin films were obtained at a substrate temperature above 250°C. Oxidation and reduction of the films in a propylene carbonate solution resulted in desirable changes in optical absorption. Coulometry indicated that the coloration efficiency was 6.03 cm2 · C−1.Keywords
