Abstract
The availability in the 1980s of precision spectrophotometers has rekindled interest in Fricke dosimetry as a research tool. The ferric-ion yield, G(Fe+3), is known to depend on the temperature of the dosemeter during irradiation. The results reported here represent a new determination of the temperature dependence of G(Fe3+) using precision spectrophotometry and a state-of-the-art Fricke dosimetry system (Ross et al., 1989).Keywords
