Abstract
Various carboxylic esters are prepared in excellent yields by the reaction of nearly equimolar amounts of silyl derivatives of carboxylic acids and alcohols with p-trifluoromethylbenzoic anhydride in the presence of a catalytic amount of Lewis acid.Keywords
