Abstract
These cholinesterase reactivators antagonize the toxic effects of organophosphorous cholinesterase inhibitors used in insecticides and war gases. Methodology for detection and estimation, and metabolic aspects and mechanisms are presented. Cyanide liberation by the antagonists and treatment of alkylphosphate intoxication with 4-aldoxi-mino pyridinium substituted antagonists are described. This publication has 54 references indexed in Scilit:
