Abstract
Thiolato com pounds such as tC4H9N = V(SR)3 (R = tC4H9, SiPh3), iC3H7N = V(StC4H9)3 and tC4H9N = V(OtC4H9)„(StC4H9)3-n (n = 1,2) have been prepared by reaction of im inovanadium (V) chlorides with LiSR. The properties of tC4H9N = V(StC4H9)3 are studied by redistribution and hydrolysis reactions. 1H. 13C, 51V NMR spectra are discussed; the constants of 51V, 14N coupling have been determined. X-R ay diffraction analyses confirm a distorted tetrahedral arrangement of the ligands in the vanadium (V) complexes 5 and 9
