Hepatic toxicity of nitrosourea analogues

Abstract
Two patients with neoplastic diseases were treated with nitrosourea derivatives and developed chemical “hepatitis.” Serialliver scintigraphy demonstrated a shift of radioactive colloid distribution that was reversible. Pathologie changes within the hepatic architecture were typical for subacute hepatitis and persisted in spite of apparent clinical recovery.
