Abstract
The effects of amiloride and SITS on branchial ion fluxes in rainbow trout were examined. Each drug was found significantly to inhibit both influx of Na+ and Cl− ions. It is postulated that the inhibitory effects on the contralateral exchange processes result from changes in gill epithelial cell pH.This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
