Abstract
The authors present an exact analysis of the co-channel interference probability of a macrodiversity cellular system with an arbitrary number of correlated branches, where the branch selection is based on local mean power. Results show that the effects of macrodiversity branch correlation cannot be ignored in the performance analysis of microcell and picocellular systems. Keywords
