Abstract
This study bears out the author's conviction that when properly motivated, many aged people can be productive. The methodology used was that of communication, communication which was achieved only after a rapport was established on a one-to-one basis with each individual who participated in the group project. This successful venture in creative writing could be applied in many fields of endeavor, were a concerted effort made to tap the intellectual reservoir of the elderly. The twilight years of our senior citizens can be years of fulfillment if we in the geriatric profession help make it so.
