Abstract
A laser-ablation technique was used to deposit thin films from the bulk oxides and , whose superconductivity properties were investigated by dc resistivity, complex ac susceptibility, and microwave response. The latter technique was employed to establish that the thin films have superconducting regions with properties similar to the bulk materials.
