Abstract
The effect of mitomycin C on cell mass increase, cell division, RNA synthesis and DNA synthesis in the blue-green alga Anacystis nidulans has been examined. Data suggests that the initiation of DNA replication, rather than its termination was the necessary event for cell division to occur.Keywords
