Abstract
Last year in May an informal conference in atmospheric chemistry was held at this Institute, a note on whch was published in the third issue of Tellus for 1954. In this conference a number of scientists took part, representing studies such as meteorology, oceanography, geology and agriculture. The aim of the conference was to focus attention on the role played by the atmosphere in the circulation, transport and redistribution of certain chemical elements and the possible geochemical, meteorological and practical importance of such processes. It is necessary to establish observational networks in order to study these processes. DOI: 10.1111/j.2153-3490.1955.tb01177.x
