Lymphomatoid Papulosis

Abstract
Six new cases of lymphomatoid papulosis are presented. In 5 of the patients the clinical picture was that of parapsoriasis guttata or varioliformis, while in 1 patient the eruption was bullous. The duration of the disease ranged from 2 to 47 years. Progression to malignant lymphoma has not occurred. The histological changes suggested mycosis fungoides and reticulosarcoma. We interpret this disease as a malignant lymphoma kept in check by immunological mechanisms.
