Abstract
Some techniques are given for utilizing molecular symmetry in setting up the equations for spin‐spin coupling in molecules in the liquid state. Applications of group theory to factoring the secular equation, determining selection rules, etc. are similar to those developed for the problem of molecular vibrations. Symtrifluorobenzene is used to illustrate the procedures. Keywords
