Abstract
Computer simulations of dynamic radiation damage events in the alkali halides reveal the importance of the focusing of energy in these lattices. Ionic displacement for KCl is most probable in the 〈110〉 direction, when the energy is in the region of 30 eV or greater and is least probable in the 〈100〉 direction. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
