Abstract
This article presents a series of annotated interviews (based on Rogers's nondirective technique) carried on with a 10-year-old boy of average intelligence who was retarded in reading. Some conclusions are: every feeling which is apparent to the counselor should be recognized; questioning is not essential to therapy; and diagnostic data are not essential to the nondirective therapist.
