Abstract
A review of three main neutron techniques for magnetic domain investigations is presented: neutron topography, neutron depolarization techniques and neutron small angle scattering. After a tutorial introduction in the respective fields the actual state of the art is discussed. In the application to polycrystalline materials it is demonstrated that the situation is not yet clear. Keywords
