Abstract
The ageing of NaCl + SrCl2 crystals deformed to various degrees has been investigated by means of electric conductivity measurements at 500 °C. It has been found that the aggregation of strontium impurity (most likely the Suzuki phase inclusions) takes place in the whole volume of the host crystal, not especially on the edge dislocations. The results are in a good quantitative agreement with the simple Cottrell theory. The diffusion coefficient of the strontium impurity in this experiment was found to be (2.43 ± 0.7) 10-11 cm2 s-1Keywords
