Abstract
A hairworm was vomited by a domestic cat. The worm specimen is white with a yellowish tint and 585 mm in length and 1.2 mm in maximum width. Morphological examinations revealed that the specimen is almost identical to Gordius ogatai Inoue, 1979 although not closely identified because of the damage of the cuticle. The cat would be infected by ingesting host insects parasitized by a well-developed young hairworm. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
