Abstract
We have bombarded a number of solid targets with 100-300 keV Xe+ ions from a heavy-ion accelerator. Strong line spectra, showing transitions in neutral, singly-and doubly-ionized target atoms have been observed. Decay lengths have been measured for a number of transitions and the results are compared to beam-foil data. Keywords
