Slope Diffraction Scattering and a Remarkable Kinematic Variable

Abstract
Group-theoretical analysis suggests the introduction of a new kinematical variable. Data on diffraction scattering exhibit remarkable universality in this variable. An -dependent slope formula is obtained which fits both and elastic scattering at all measured energies.
