Abstract
The bis(S-methoxycarbonylthio)-B-chain of beef insulin was synthesized from B-chain bis(S-sulfonate) and methoxycarbonyl-sulfenylchloride, and reacted with thioglycolic acid and cysteine in acidic solution to the corresponding unsymmetrical disulfides in 80% yield. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
