Abstract
``Forward'' velocities (parallel to the polarization direction) of 180° domain walls in BaTiO3 have been measured by direct, stroboscopic observation from less than 0.01 to more than 1000 cm/sec. The velocities vf can be expressed as vf = (5500 cm/sec) exp[(−1.8 kV/cm)/E], where E is the applied field.
