Abstract
Laser‐induced fluorescence spectra of SrF from the reaction Sr+HF(v=1,j=1)→SrF(v’,j’)+H have been measured for two alignments of the molecular axis of HF favoring either end‐on or side‐on attacks. We find at the studied collision energies, Etr=217 and 279 meV, a significant but small influence of the alignment on the intensity of the four bandheads associated with v’=0, 1, 2, and 3.Keywords
