Abstract
Results of a precise calculation of the Coulomb self-energy for states with n=1 and 2 for nuclear charge Z in the range 5–110 in increments of 5 are given. Results are also given for some elements that are of particular experimental interest. These values provide improved accuracy over previous calculations. Keywords
