Abstract
An instance of 3 red-tailed hawks (Buteo jamaicensis) attending 1 nest is described. Observations were made from March through July 1973 in Orange County, California, USA. The chicks from the nest were 9.4% heavier than the mean weight of 51 comparable-aged nestlings from 3-chick nests. All 4 young grew to fledglings.
