Abstract
The permanent deformation-time relationship under constant load, of 15 elastomer impression materials were studied. All materials showed a greater permanent deformation under constant load than with tensile load, except the polyether material. Silicone and polyether materials exhibited perceptibly less permanent deformation than mercaptan materials ten minutes after mixing. Keywords
