Abstract
I show that the usual recipes for calculating the -violation parameters and may be rephrased in a rephasing-invariant way. In the rephasing-invariant formulation, the Euler-type parametrizations of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix are superfluous.
