Radial electron thermal diffusivities from the perturbation of the electron temperature profile by a turbulent heating pulse in the TORTUR Tokamak

Abstract
In the TORTUR Tokamak the electron thermal diffusivity chi e has been determined as a function of the radius from the time evolution of a temperature increase across the profile due to a fast toroidal current pulse. The thermal diffusivities correspond with global chi e values from the power balance of a steady state plasma.
