Abstract
We derive the two-point correlation function for a distinguishable-particle hopping on a one-dimensional linear chain with all sites equivalent. The solution is obtained from a multiple-scattering equation derived from first principles. The results are similar to results obtained from computer experiments and phenomenological arguments. Keywords
