Abstract
The electronic structure of the paramagnetic molecule (C5H5)3Ni3(CO)2 is investigated, and the odd electron is assigned to an A 2″ combination of nickel d orbitals. The g values of the molecule are calculated on this hypothesis and are found to be consistent with the experimental values. Keywords
