On secondary and higher-generation ghosts

Abstract
The authors give a simplified discussion of 'secondary' and further Faddeev-Popov ghost fields occurring in covariantly quantised gauge theories with differentially constrained gauge transformations. Several examples of this new phenomenon are presented.Keywords
