Abstract
Five sp. in 3 families are descr. Bivesicula claviformis is redescr. and recorded from a new host, Serranus fasciatus. Proctotrema malasi n.sp. was obtained from Anampses sp. The status of the genus Proctotrema in relation to Genolopa is discussed and the former is considered as valid, on the basis of the spination of the terminal genital ducts which is considered as characteristic. Keys of the spp. of the 2 genera are given. SPIRITESTIS arabii n.gen. and sp. (Lepocreadiidae) is obtained from Mugil sp. and HAIRANA sohali n.gen. and sp. and H. magnus n.sp. belonging to the same family, are obtained from Acanthurus sohal. The two new genera seem to be allied to Enenterum Linton, and to Cadenatella and Jeancadenatia Dollfus. A key is given for these related genera. All 5 spp. are recorded from the Red Sea.
