Abstract
A polypoid endometrial tumor arising in an 89-year-old woman was composed of pure embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma, whereas the metastatic tumor in the pelvic lymph nodes was entirely adenocarcinomatous. This finding indicates that some rhabdomyosarcomas of the uterus represent carcinosarcomas with extensive or total overgrowth by the sarcomatous component. Keywords
