Abstract
Sera of patients on chronic hemodialysis induced suppressor cell activity (SCA) in normal peripheral blood mononuclear cells, which significantly impaired blastogenic response to PHA. This SCA is statistically not different from Con A induced SCA. Both SCAs are however additive. Speculations concerning the modes of action of this induced SCA are discussed. Keywords
