Abstract
Positive visual phenomena (phosphenes) elicited by eye movements were described in normal individuals and in myopes with vitreous opacities, Eye movement-induced phosphenes were described that appear to be related to optic nerve involvement in patients with optic neuritis and multiple sclerosis. This phenomenon was not associated with vitreous or retinal defects, nor was it similar to phosphenes observed in normal individuals. It shared many characteristics with the well-known Lhermitte sign and may represent a similar phenomenon. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
