Abstract
The archaic mortality structure of the Homo sapiens sapiens, combined with a probably moderate crude rate of natural increase, involve a completed fertility about 4.5-6 children/female, i.e., less than the usual estimations. This number is of the same order of the wild Pongidae. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
