Abstract
An extract rich in trypsin‐inhibiting activity was obtained from field beans (Vicia faba L.) and added to a diet containing autoclaved field bean meal. There was no significant effect on chick growth but pancreas size was significantly increased and food conversion efficiency was reduced.Keywords
