Abstract
The isolation from photosynthetic organisms and the properties of a naturally occurring, water-soluble, heat-stable factor (phosphodoxin) which catalyzes photosynthetic phosphorylation either by spinach chloroplasts or bacterial chromato-phores are presented. Phosphodoxin has been isolated from spinach chloroplasts, algae, and bacteria,.Keywords
